Temple Filler

Temple Filler

As we age we lose facial fat. The temples hollow out. This creates a ‘peanut’ shape in the face when viewed from the front.

Hollow temples are associated with an aged appearance. By filling the temple area Mike can create a smooth transition down to the cheek.

Importantly, this is a higher risk treatment for necrosis and even a few cases of blindness have been reported. This can happen if the filler is injected into an artery by accident. The filler can block the blood supply ahead of the filler. Mike uses dissolvable fillers to know we can dissolve in an emergency. Mike also uses a blunt cannula in this area for improved safety but he will discuss the risks and benefits with yourself and A Prof Goodman before any treatment.

All treatments carry risks and benefits which are discussed in your consultation. All
information is general. Patient results are variable case by case. All before and after
photos were signed out in a release from the patient.
